The Fly Honeys are a femme-powered, queer as f+ck, body-loving smoke show of a performance project where pleasure is king, but the queens have the power.
What started as an illegal underground party is now a full-scale, heart-thumping, ass-shaking rallying cry for the revolution that we create live, together, every single night.
Hyped as a “Chicago institution”, The Fly Honey Show invites you straight to the center of the Hive for a high-energy, campy, sticky, glittering spectacle of dance, comedy, + music experienced in the round so you’ll be immersed in Honey from every direction.
So get it while it’s hot: The Fly Honey Show opens its final run at Thalia Hall on July 10 for six nights over three weekends. Each weekend, a new lineup of special guest artists will join the Hive for intimate genre-bending performances by some of Chicago’s best singers, stand-ups, pole artists, dancers, drag performers + more, all hosted by our Queen Bee MCs, Mary Williamson and Melissa DuPrey.

Photography & Performer Privacy
Fly Honey productions feature partial nudity. We ask all guests not to post, publish, or distribute nude photographs or videos of the artists without their expressed permission. We lovingly cultivate a culture where performers joyfully embrace, and often bare, their bodies as artists in this sacred space. Guests are welcome (and encouraged!) to take photos and videos and share their favorite memories and oh-my-god moments on social media, but please consider the artist’s agency before posting.
We dedicate our art to the power of pleasure, personal expression, and sexual liberation for all. Thank you for respecting our performers who commit their hearts and bodies to this work.
